The story behind Trina:

A couple years ago I was sharing a wood shop with Mike, and admired a couple of three-legged wooden stools with contoured seats that Mike had designed and built. By coincidence, I had recently moved into an apartment with a large kitchen island, and needed stools so guests could sit comfortably at the island to chat, while dinner got made. With mid-century design sensibilities in mind, and desiring a high strength-to-weight ratio, Trina was the natural outcome. I still use the stools in my kitchen today.
